ACE Canada Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the overall betterment of the animation industry in Canada through career training, education and mentorship for personnel in the animation industry or personnel aspiring to enter the industry.


The ACE Program is designed to advance the careers of gender marginalized professionals in the animation industry by giving them a key credit in the creation of their very own short film or web series pilot.with providing mentorship and training along the way, to ensure they are set-up for success.


What we are looking for:


● Coordination and/or management experience in the arts or cultural industries
● Superior organizational skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and collaborate
effectively
● Some knowledge of bookkeeping and cost reporting
● Knowledge of the animation industry is an asset
● Non-profit experience is an asset
What you will do:
● Provide support to the ACE Program Producers, as needed
● Maintain the ACE Program schedule and calendar
● Coordinate and schedule Program Committee meetings
● Support the Associate Producer with applicant coordination for new cohorts, including
managing shortlists and application materials
● Assist Associate Producer in organizing jury selection sessions, including gathering all
required materials
● Book and contract workshop instructors
● Create and maintain templates for workshops and mentor sessions
● Track invoices for mentors, workshops and general program expenses
● Bookkeeping, expense and cost reporting
● Organize and maintain filing of meeting notes/recordings
● Assist with marketing and communications; collaborating with the social media team
● Relay updated material for Website team
● Manage travel booking for markets and festivals
● Track program partnerships and sponsorship deliverables, preparing reports to sponsors
● Attend board meetings, as required


Start Date: January 2026
Pay range: $25 - $50 / hour, depending on experience
Expected hours: Between 20 - 30 hours a week.
